Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been fascinated by dinosaurs and the natural world. Watching National Geographic documentaries and movies like Jurassic Park made me dream of exploring rainforests and living close to nature. Filmed right here in Costa Rica, Jurassic Park felt like a glimpse into my future. Now, living and guiding in Tortuguero – where parts of the movie were shot – is a dream come true. I found a way to share this sense of wonder with others through eco-tourism, making each tour feel like an adventure in nature.

Guiding with Expertise and Heart
My journey to becoming a naturalist guide has been full of adventure and learning. I began my studies in Guápiles and completed my training in Corcovado, where I worked alongside incredible guides who inspired me. Today, I hold three guiding licenses, allowing me to lead unique experiences that immerse visitors in Tortuguero’s biodiversity.
